SAN DIEGO, CALIF - November 16, 2011 -- Comparative Pulse force tests of the San Diego company Med Systems' Electro Flo® 5000 and the Fluid Flo® 2500 indicate that they provide significantly more pulse force than the G5 Flimm-Fighter or the G5 Vibracare.
The results of these studies are significant because they give children and adults afflicted with cystic fibrosis and other diseases affected the airways a basis for determining for the first time which product most meets their needs.
The strongest airway clearance device, the Electro Flo® 5000, could reach up to 35 lbs of pulse force compared to 19 lbs for the Fluid Flo® 2500, or 13.75 lbs for the Flimm-Fighter, and a mere 11.75 lbs for the Vibracare.
In addition, the Electro Flo® 5000 with Force Multiplying Technology provides 25 targeted settings so power and frequency can be precisely directed to individual lobes of the lungs.
